The above logo was a new design to break away from the previous black and white
boxed logo. It came in several colors (red, purple, green, blue, gold,
brown) which was to signify dynamism as was the removal of the box and
the slash in the I. The point at the end of the L was intended to
signify progress and pointed to the future.
