Together with Fleet Financial Group, BankBoston was merged in 1999 to FleetBoston. The colors of this logo, as well, as the stylized bird come back in the new FleetBoston logo, this logo was also created by Interbrand.
In 2004 FleetBoston merged with Bank of America; all of its banks and branches were given the Bank of America logo.
