Saul Bass

Saul Bass (1920-1996) was an American graphic designer and Academy Award-winning filmmaker, but he is best known for his design on animated motion picture title sequences.

Apart from being one of the most succesfull and first movie poster and opening credit designers, Bass was also a very succesfull identity designer and created some of the strongest and most important brands of the 20th century. Most of them are still in use today!
