Cartoon Network was originally conceived to showcase Ted Turner's
library of animated cartoons he had acquired from MGM, Warner Brothers,
and Hanna-Barbara's libraries, but overtime they started creating and
airing original series and some live-action films and shows, as well.
This logo was used by the TV channel from its debut in 1992 until
2004.
